Divine Atelier at The Aisle

And just like that, October descends. The swifties have well and truly left us behind, the weather turns colder, the rain returns (not that it ever left!) and the pumpkin spice lattes come back as we plunge back into another Autumn/Winter season. The darker nights and chilly mornings are usually enough to send us all legging it to the Jet2 website to book some sunshine back in. Lets face it, we all know if we’re not careful, this time of year can suddenly creep up on us and it all gets a little bit doom and gloom.

But have no fear! Put your hats and scarves back on the rack, stop thinking about the festive season already and start thinking, instead, about your upcoming nuptials. If you’ve got a wedding in 2025 then it really is time to start thinking about your dress!

The good news is that although the rest of the year seems to be winding down, we’re gearing up with new designers landing in store that you will be dying to try! Whether you’ve got a winter wedding, a destination exclusive or you're waiting for some spring sunshine - our latest collection of dresses by Divine Atelier have the perfect selection for you.

This new designer to The Aisle is INCREDIBLE and it’s safe to say that all us stylists are obsessed with them. The cuts, the fabrics, the quality- we really are blown away by them. So much so that as soon as these beauties arrived Katie and I unboxed them and put them straight on!

Katie and Maya came across this stunning Romanian designer when they were buying in Barcelona in April and just had to bring them back to our North Yorkshire studio. They look really flipping good in their new home too! So let's start with a little walk through of the first six dresses that have landed in store with more to drop come the start of November.

First up is the Winona. Our stunning two piece.

This is such a versatile dress, in fact it literally is a skirt and top two piece but when it’s pulled together it looks and fits as a dress would. The corset is a beautiful strapless, oval neck top that is finished in a rippled silk. Yes it’s silk! We can’t believe the price of these fabrics either. The texture of this fabric gives it a really couture look and it feels super comfortable on the skin. The skirt is a simple pleated floaty A line in a beautiful and incredibly soft tulle that sits perfectly underneath the detailed corset. This whole ensemble is giving us really high fashion, special and slightly edgy bride vibes, whilst also bringing in a little bit of tradition. Once you add in the extra tulle neck tie it screams runway! This look gives real bridal energy but at the same time- and I can’t believe I’m saying this- the potential to wear BOTH the corset top and tulle skirt again, separately for another occasion is completely possible. The top would look stunning even just with a pair of jeans and heels. If you’re thinking of going for a really soft chic bridal look then this is not a dress to be missed and it has proven itself to be so much more than just a wedding dress.

Next up is the Miller

Talk about slimming! This beauty is in a really gorgeous french crepe from the waist down and has curved inward facing seams running down the body and the skirt. This creates a teeny tiny waistline without the need for boning or lots of structure. It holds together really beautifully when on and means it is also very comfortable - super clever! That said, what makes this dress even more special is the detail around the neck line and on the sleeve. A soft ruffled organza, that sits stunningly draped from shoulder to shoulder, and falls into a long sleeve, with three pearl button detail at the bottom, is giving couture bride to the max! Insert chefs kiss here because there are no other words for the sophistication and individuality of this gown.

Next on the list is Elba.

Picture the beautiful oval neckline of the top of the winona corset. That sleek rippled silk hugs around the bust and waist before it falls into a really sophisticated silk knot, sitting just at the bottom of the torso. This dress is perfect for any brides who are undecided between a fit and flare or an A-line look. The Elba falls beautifully into a slimline dress that is figure hugging in all the right places, without being super tight, whilst also giving brides a little bit of coverage if you feel more comfortable with it across the tummy area. The combination of flowing silk skirt cross with the Winona style bodice is giving a whole new meaning to chic!

Here she is… Lola Corset combined with Caro skirt.

Yes! Another versatile two piece. Make way for another jaw dropping corset, because when we say cinched, we mean CINCHED! This corset has a little peplum at the bottom of the bodice to create more shape and beautiful boned detail running all the way through the bodice. This corset creates shape that we have only ever seen before on a Jean Paul Gautier perfume bottle. This dress needs its own photoshoot at the top of the Eiffel tower, featuring an ensemble of fit french men in the background. (Or are we just living our Emily in Paris fantasies out? Highly possible.) Pair this with the silk skirt that drapes gently over the bottom of the torso and you have another silken beauty that gives tummy coverage and highlights curves in all the right areas. We are seriously saluting this combo.

Our next show stopper in line is Sara

An effortless, full silk dress that once again hits draping and soft pleats in all the right areas. Smooth, luxurious and demands attention with an “all eyes on me” kinda mantra! If you’ve followed The Aisle and our designers for a while, think Hera Couture Le Belle kind of neckline but with a skirt in a soft fit and flare. If you love a sweeping neckline and a little bit of top arm coverage with a drop sleeve, then this dress will tick all your boxes. I felt utterly beautiful, comfortable and equally sexy in this dress. A cheeky side split gives a contemporary edgy vibe whilst the all silk fabric is what really does the talking, it moves and flows perfectly when on. Has to be seen (and tried) at The Aisle to be believed! But honestly I’m loosing track… these dresses are getting more and more special as we go down the list. Can’t cope!

Last but not least is the Ariana

This silky cinched gown is giving high class grecian goddess vibes. Gorgeous dropped ruching across the torso area creates real shape and if you’re feeling a little self conscious around that area, this dress can give you the confidence you need. It runs as more of a column drop than a fit and flare so the fabric really flows and moves beautifully on any bride. If fabric and texture is important to you then this is a dress that should really be on your wish list. Add in the stunning eyelash lace across the neckline, turning the sweetheart of the silk into a straight cut across the top, and throw in a matching lace removable sleeve - then you might just have the perfect combination.

It looks like this Romanian designer is really giving the Pacific designers a run for their money because they are killing the Bridal meets runway look this season! Naturally, we are totally here for it. Book your appointment soon to avoid disappointment and be one of the first Aisle brides to showcase Divine Atelier.

See you at The Aisle,
