Aisle Bride Eleanor Rose - “I just felt like a BRIDE”

How did you know when you had found the dress?

I always knew I wanted to visit The Aisle. Knowing Katie's background in fashion and having followed the boutique’s journey for a while, I had a feeling it would be something special. With a similar fashion background myself, I was excited to try on trend-led styles and something a little out of the ordinary. Initially, I went to try on a particular dress—the Darcy—because I always thought I'd go for a fitted style. But the moment I tried on the Florence, I just felt like a BRIDE! Plus when I made the decision I cried, which I didn't expect.

What did you like about your experience with The Aisle?

The entire team at The Aisle were so nice, and the shop itself felt like an art gallery—it was luxurious and had a high-fashion vibe. I loved that it was non-traditional, which really resonated with me. You can truly see how much care and hard work Katie has put into creating such an incredible and unique shopping experience.

Do you have any tips for 'brides to be' regarding choosing the dress?

My main tip for brides-to-be is to try on something you wouldn’t normally consider! I went in thinking I’d choose a fitted style, but I ended up falling in love with the Florence, which was completely unexpected. Don’t put pressure on yourself to have that ‘this is the one’ moment—sometimes it’s more about finding a dress that makes you feel like a bride. For me, it was knowing I’d never wear something like the Florence again, and when I put it on, it just felt epic.

Lastly, try not to worry about whether you’ll still love your dress a year from now. I had a moment after not trying it on for ages, but reminded myself that I chose it for a reason. While you may think 'what if' for a moment because you see another dress you didn't try, trust that your choice was perfect for you at the time. Focus on how it made you feel in that moment, and remember that it’s part of your wedding journey.
